Applying for admission in DPS Chandigarh? Here’s how you should do it:
It is better to get your child admitted to the DPS Chandigarh for nursery classes itself. There is almost no chance to get admission for other classes.The registration form for admission to nursery class for the year 2018-19 can be downloaded from the school’s website www.dpschd.com between December1- December 12, 2017.The forms will not be available offline. Only online forms.
Registration of forms
The online forms should be filled in, signed and the necessary documents should be attached and it should reach the school between 9AM and 12 noon on or before the 12th of December 2017. The registration fee of Rs. 100/- should also be paid.
The documents that are to be attached to the registration form include
- Attested copy of the Aadhar Card
- Birth certificate of the child
- Residence proof
- SC/ST/OBC certificate, if applicable
- One photo of the child (passport size),
- Passport size photo of the father and mother.
The additional documents in case of EWS applicants include
- Attested copy of family income certificate that has been issued by the Sub- Divisional Magistrate
- Proof of residence in Chandigarh for atleast 3 years prior to the year in which admission is being sought.
Applications without these documents could be rejected.
The selection is based on the draw of lots. It will be held on Thursday, January 18th, 2018. The draw of lots would be held in the school auditorium at 10.30AM for NON- EWS (Economically weaker section) seats. The number of seats is 113. The date of draw for the EWS seats will be announced later. The EWS seats are 37 in number. Make sure the email Id and phone numbers are entered properly in the registration form, for you will only be intimated by them.

The child for whom admission is being sought should have completed 3 years as on March 31st, 2018. That is, the child shouldhave been born between April 1st, 2014 and March 31st, 2015.
